The Goat Sand Volleyball Leagues are all about enjoying the sun, cold drinks and great friends all summer long. We have locations in Columbus, Durham, and Nashville with professional sand volleyball courts. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a casual player, we have a league for you.

Recreational and Competitive Leagues offer nightly drink specials, tournament play with prizes, and a $25 gift card for captains at registration. Our Social Leagues offer a more casual Friday-night play with buckets of beer.

Rally up your squad to form a team or register as a free agent and we'll place you with some awesome new friends.

What is the deadline to register?

  • Spring - Monday, March 31st, 2025

  • Summer I - Wednesday, May 28th, 2025

  • Summer II - Friday, August 8th, 2025

What are the 2025 Regular Season Dates?

2025 Regular Season Dates

  • Spring: April 8th - May 11th, 2025

  • Summer I: June 9th - August 3rd, 2025

  • Summer II: August 18th - October 12th, 2025

When and where can we view our team's schedule?

Schedules will be posted online once registration has closed.

Tentative schedule release dates for the 2025 seasons are as follows:

  • Spring: Friday, April 4th, 2025

  • Summer I: Friday, June 6th, 2025

  • Summer II: Friday, August 15th, 2025

Once schedules are completed, we will send a welcome email to the captain of your team that lets them know that the schedules are available to view on the website.

Schedules can be viewed at any time. You can view your team's schedule for the session by selecting your location, the night you are playing on, and selecting your team's name.

What times are the games?

Game times during the weekdays, Monday through Thursday, will start no earlier than 6:00 pm and the last scheduled game will be scheduled as close to 9:00 pm as possible. Final game times are dependent on the number of registered teams in the league.

Games that are scheduled to be played on Sunday will begin in the afternoon as close to 4:00 pm as possible and the last scheduled game will start as close to 8:00 pm as possible. Final game times are dependent on the number of teams in the league.

When are the tournaments?

Spring

  • Nightly Tournaments to be held May 13th - May 18th, 2025

  • Champ of Champs to be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2025

Summer I

  • Nightly Tournaments to be held August 4th - August 10th, 2025

  • Champ of Champs to be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2025

  • Competitive League Champ of Champs to be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2025

Summer II

  • Nightly Tournaments to be held October 13th - October 19th, 2025

  • Champ of Champs to be held on October 25th - October 26th, 2025

  • Competitive League Champ of Champs to be held on October 18th - October 19th, 2025

Do we accept free agents and full team registrations?

Yes! We accept both full team registrations as well as free agent registrations. You can feel free to register your team or yourself under the registrations tab for the session and night you wish to play. We want everyone to be able to play, so if you do not have a team, don't worry. We will do our best to get you on a team!

What happens if there is inclement weather? Is there a makeup policy?

Games are not canceled due to inclement weather. Rescheduling a game is the responsibility of the team captains.

All teams have the ability to reschedule any game for any reason, as long as the date and time of the rescheduled game is agreed upon by both team captains prior to the originally scheduled game time.

We have an open court policy in regards to makeup games. Anytime that the courts are not being used for previously scheduled games, they are available for use by any team that is looking to make up a game. We just ask that you inform your nightly volleyball coordinator of any make up game scores.
